Strong, Versatile and Easy to install Saddle Clips and Base.
TruDesign Saddle Clips and Base are designed for tidy routing of cables, wires, and plumbing hoses.
The Base can either be screwed or glued to a wall or bulkhead providing a 'mounting base' which can be used on its
own with a cable-tie for tying down cables and wires or have one of four sizes of Saddle Clips attached to it for
supporting various diameters of plumbing hose. For increased security, a cable-tie can be threaded through the Base
under and around the Saddle Clip and hose then done up, locking all components together.
If plumbing layouts change in the future, simply remove the hose from the Saddle Clip, then pinch the arms of the
Saddle Clip together to unclip and detach it from the Base. A different size of Saddle Clip can then be clicked on to
the Base to accept a different diameter of plumbing hose.
Base available in 1 size supporting 4 sizes of Saddle Clips which cover a range of varying hose diameters:
- 90983 - Saddle Clip 13mm

Installation for Cables & Wires
- Attach Base to wall, bulkhead, or hull interior using either 2x stainless 8g x ¾ CSK self-tapping screws or by
applying a suitable marine-grade adhesive to the underside. If using adhesive, no screws are required.- Some recommended adhesives are 3M™ Marine Adhesive Sealant 5200, SIKAFLEX® 291 i Marine
Sealant or for fast cure time Plexus® MA310 two part adhesive.
- To secure wires or cables, thread a cable-tie through the slot on Base and fasten cables tightly.
Installation for Hoses & Pipes:
- After Installation of Base, select a suitable size Saddle Clip for the intended hose and attach to Base by pinching Saddle Clip arms together and pushing onto Base. A 'click' sound indicates attachment.
- Push hose in to Saddle Clip until arms flex outwards and snap over the hose.
- If desired, a cable-tie can be threaded through the slot on the Base and around the Saddle Clip and hose to lock everything in place.
- To disassemble the Saddle Clip from the Base first remove the hose by pulling outward until released from the Saddle Clip. Pinch arms of Saddle Clip together and pull away from the Saddle Base to remove.
